#mydentity is the professional color brand created by colorist and educator Guy Tang with Henkel. The range includes Permanent color creme with full gray coverage, Demi-Permanent creme for blending and gloss, 5-minute X-PRESS Toners, REFLECT liquid demi-permanent, and two developer-free direct dye ranges, Super Power and Vibrant Pastel. Big9 Creme and Magnum 8 Powder lighteners, #LiftMeUp high-lift toners and a full set of #mydentity developers support the color. Shades follow a level system from 1, the darkest, to 10, the lightest, followed by a family code, so 8DL is a level 8 Dusty Lavender and 9RG a level 9 Rose Gold. Signature shades such as Shadow Ash 9 or Naked Glow 7 carry a name and a level instead of letters, and many codes exist in both Permanent and Demi, so the line name always goes with the code. Stylists come to the brand for smoky, dusty and metallic fashion tones such as Silver Smoke, Rose Gold and Midnight Rose.
