FormulaFinder is a hair color formula app for professional stylists. We turn a client's inspiration photo into a verified color formula, then translate it across the top professional color brands, including Redken, Matrix, L'Oréal, Wella, Schwarzkopf IGORA, Goldwell, Joico, Pulp Riot, Pravana, Kenra and more, so the craft stays with the colorist and the busywork does not.
Why we exist
Stop switching between five different apps to turn a client's inspiration photo into a formula. FormulaFinder was built by stylists, for stylists, to bring inspiration, formulation, and confidence into one place.
Great color work has always demanded two very different skills at once: an eye for the look and the technical fluency to build a formula that gets there. Between those two lives a scatter of tabs and apps, guesswork about shade codes, and the constant translation between whichever brands happen to be on the shelf.
We built FormulaFinder to close that gap. Search for inspiration, upload a client's photo, and get a formula, all without leaving the app. Built on official brand shade charts. Every shade code is checked against the brand's real lineup. When a question comes up mid-service, the Stylist Assistant is right there too, ready to help with color, client conversations, or anything else that comes up behind the chair.
