View the official Color Gels Oils chartColor Gels Oils is Redken's ammonia-free, fragrance-free and silicone-free liquid permanent color, made with 2% apricot oil and rated for up to 100% gray coverage. It mixes in equal parts with Pro-Oxide Cream Developer in 10, 20, 30 or 40 volume and processes 20 to 45 minutes at room temperature, depending on the volume, with no heat. Lift ranges from up to 1 level with 10 volume to 3+ levels with 40 volume. The swatches on the chart are shown on 100% gray hair, so they preview the result on gray rather than on pigmented hair. Codes print without a leading zero, such as 6NCh or 10NA.
