View the official Color Gels Lacquers chartColor Gels Lacquers is Redken's low-ammonia liquid permanent color, built for saturated tone, shine and up to 100% gray coverage. It mixes 1:1 with Pro-Oxide Cream Developer, and timing follows the volume: 10 volume for 20 minutes (up to 1 level of lift), 20 volume for 30 minutes (up to 2), 30 volume for 40 minutes (up to 3) and 40 volume for 45 minutes (3+). Do not use heat. The 10 Minute shades mix with 20 volume only and process in 10 minutes. R5 and Carmin'R reds are meant to be used alone or with each other.
