Color XG is a vegan permanent cream color made in Italy. It mixes 1:1 with Paul Mitchell Cream Developer, and the volume sets lift and time: 10 vol for deposit in 25 minutes, 20 vol for 1 to 2 levels or gray coverage in 35, 30 vol for 2 to 3 levels in 45, and 40 vol for 3 to 4 levels in 45 to 55. Each shade also has a dual number code, so 6GB is 6/37. The chart includes Highlift blondes, Ultra Toners, CoverSmart shades such as 55NN for resistant gray, and Intensifiers, added at up to 1/4 oz per 2 oz of color before developer.
