Matrix Tonal Control Color Chart

Tonal Control Pre-Bonded is Matrix's acidic gel-cream toner, ammonia-free and vegan, for toning and glossing with no lift and high shine. It mixes 1:1 with Matrix Cream Developer 10 volume and processes 20 minutes at room temperature on clean hair that is dry or damp and towel-dried. Matrix validates every shade at 20 minutes. The shades contain no direct dyes, and the line is not positioned for gray coverage. The range runs from level 4 to 11, and each code pairs the level with tone letters, such as 8VG or 9AA, alongside a shade name.
