It is ammonia-free, mixes 1:1 with Matrix Cream Developer 10 volume only, and processes 20 minutes at room temperature with up to one level of lift. NN shades cover up to 75% gray, and the rest of the palette covers up to 50%. Matrix recommends applying to clean hair that is about 80% dry, since damp hair can give a lighter, more diluted result. Shades run from level 3 to 11 with sheer pastels and Clear, coded by level and tone letters such as 8CG Copper Gold.
