It mixes 1:1 with Vero K-PAK 20 vol Veroxide, lifts 1 to 2 levels depending on the shade and processes 45 minutes without heat. Joico notes that on hair with less than 50% gray, results can look one or more levels darker. Every code ends in a plus sign, such as 8NN+ or 6NB+, which separates Age Defy from the standard Vero K-PAK palette. Joico also makes a Gray Controller additive for this line.
