A New Colour is Davines' ammonia-free permanent, formulated with plant-derived carotenoids and melanin. Every formula has three parts: 1 part shade, 1 part A New Colour Base Cream and 2 parts Davines Activator, for example 30 g + 30 g + 60 g, processed for 35 minutes. Activator strength sets the result: 5 or 10 vol to refresh, 20 vol for gray coverage, tone change or 1 level of lift, 30 vol for 2 levels and 40 vol for 3. It gives full white coverage and can lighten or darken up to 3 levels. Families include Naturals, Intense Naturals, Browns, Golden, Ash, Copper, Reds and Sand, plus a Booster.
