Pulp Riot Color Charts
Pulp Riot is a professional color brand that grew out of the vivid hair movement and has been part of L'Oréal since 2018. It is best known for its Semi-Permanent fashion shades, which carry names instead of numbers, such as Lilac, Velvet or Nightfall, and appear on the chart at the darkest and lightest hair levels each one is recommended for. The brand has since built a full color system around them: Faction8 permanent color, High Speed Toners for pre-lightened blondes, BlondeAF, Clay Lightener and Cream Bleach lighteners, Blank Canvas semi-permanent color remover, and its own developers in 6, 10, 20, 30 and 40 vol. Faction8 uses a level-and-tone code written with a dash, such as 6-0 or 7-34, with -0 naturals, -00 double naturals and boosters written as a dash and a doubled digit, such as -22. Among stylists, Pulp Riot is known for saturated, fully intermixable vivids and a strong artist and education community.
