Kenra Color Demi-Permanent Coloring Creme is an ammonia-free, deposit-only demi used for toning, refreshing and gray blending. The standard mix is 1:2 with Kenra Color Demi-Permanent Coloring Creme Activator 9 Volume, processed 5 to 25 minutes. For gray blending the ratio changes to 1:1 with the same activator, and Kenra rates the line for natural gray blending up to 75%. Shades use the same level and tone codes as the permanent line, such as 7NA, 5NB or 4NUA, so the number is the level and the letters are the dominant and secondary tones. Kenra directs applying from scalp to ends after a mist of Porosity Equalizing Spray.
