Tressa Color Charts
Tressa is a professional hair company based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where it has made its products in house since 1969. Its color range includes Colourage, a permanent color with a gel-like texture mixed one part color to two parts developer, and the Watercolors family, which covers BB Demi deposit-only color, BB Tone Control Toners, DD Intense direct dyes and Base Drops. LiteWorx is a lift-and-tone highlighting system that pairs a conditioning oil lightener and lifting powder with non-ammonia toners, and Watercolors Lightener handles on and off scalp lightening. Colourage Liquid Developer and Tressa Processing Cream both come in 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 volume. Shade codes put the level first, then series letters with no slash, so 7CG is a level 7 copper gold; some distributors print the same shade as 7C/G. Colourage series run from Natural, Ash and Ash Ash through Gold, Beige, Copper Gold and Red to Specialty Reds and the Super Ultra Light Blondes. The brand also runs its own salon education program.
