L'Oréal Professionnel Color Charts
L'Oréal Professionnel is the salon brand of the L'Oréal Groupe, and its color range is one of the most widely used in professional salons. The lineup has four color pillars. Majirel is the classic permanent creme, with Cool Cover, High-Lift and Booster extensions. iNOA is a no-ammonia permanent powered by an Oil Delivery System. Dia Color is an alkaline demi-permanent, and Dia Light is an acidic demi-permanent gloss. Blond Studio supplies the lighteners. Every line is paired with its own developer: Majicrème for Majirel, iNOA Oil Developer for iNOA and DIActivateur for both Dia lines. Shades are written two ways on US charts. The level runs from 1, black, to 10, pale blonde. The digits after the point give the tones, primary first, such as .1 blue, .2 violet, .3 gold or .4 copper, and a letter code repeats them, so 7.43 is also 7CG. Stylists know the brand for iNOA's oil-based no-ammonia permanent and for Dia Light glosses.
