Color Wear is Alfaparf's tone-on-tone cream color. It is vegan and free of ammonia, MEA, PPD, alcohol and silicones, with arginine as the alkalizing agent. The standard mix is 1:2 with Oxid'o (60 g color to 120 ml), using 5 volume for cool shades, 10 volume for warm shades and 20 volume only for reds and coppers, processed 20 to 25 minutes. It covers up to 60% gray at 1:2, or up to 100% at 1:1 with 10 or 20 volume for 30 to 40 minutes. Intensity builds during processing, so Alfaparf advises against rinsing early. The liquid Gloss Toner mixes 1:2 with its own 9.5 volume activator.
